Works with: Sony Bravia Professional Displays with IP control.

Before you start

  1. On the display, open Settings → Network → Home network setup → IP control.
  2. Set Authentication to Normal and Pre-Shared Key and enter a pre-shared key. You’ll use it as the device’s password.
  3. Turn on Remote start so the display can be powered on over the network from standby.

Add the device

  1. In the portal, go to Devices and select New device.
  2. Choose the Collector that can reach the device, and set Protocol to Sony Bravia Professional.
  3. Enter the settings below and save. The Collector picks up the new device within five minutes.
Tags are set under Advanced (JSON) → Tags in the device form, as a JSON object, for example {"mac_address": "AA:BB:CC:11:22:33"}.

These values appear under Device Information on the device page, and can be checked in Room Readiness routines.

Commands

Each command is a button on the device page, and can be used in Room Readiness routines.
Power-on: M.A.R.C.U.S. sends a Wake-on-LAN packet straight to the display’s address, then the IP-control power command. The display’s MAC address is learned automatically the first time it’s reached while switched on; set the mac_address tag if you need power-on to work before that.
